Since commencing interactions with the weavers of Sausar in September 2016, the organization has made significant strides. Today, it operates actively through its field offices in four clusters, encompassing the skilled weavers of:
- Sausar, Maheshwar & Satna in Madhya Pradesh
- Bhandara in Maharashtra
Thanks to their relentless efforts, the organization has ensured year-round employment for over 100 artisans, resulting in a remarkable increase in the weavers' average income from Rs. 4000 per month to an impressive average of Rs. 12000 per month.
The organization's impact has reached global proportions, as it boasts a robust wholesale client base spanning over 15 countries. With an annual sale of over 45 thousand square meters of handwoven textiles, their exquisite craftsmanship has found appreciation far and wide.
Moreover, the organization has taken a proactive approach to empower the local youth from the surrounding areas of each cluster. By employing and training these young individuals, they have cultivated a competent team to efficiently manage the field office activities. Leveraging a professionally developed manual record-keeping system alongside customized online software, the organization meets the demands of modern data requirements, ensuring seamless communication between the field office, head office, and clients.
Through its dedication to artisanal heritage and sustainable practices, the organization has not only uplifted the livelihoods of weavers but also showcased the potential of traditional crafts in the contemporary world. Its impact resonates across borders, embodying the spirit of collaboration and empowerment for a better future.
